Each has a varying degree of complexity and required investment. Brochure Sites and PricingBrochure sites are those that contain a smaller number of pages (typically 10-12 pages) and represent an on-line, professionally designed, brochure that communicates your message to its intended audience. The content of these sites is primarily static, meaning that the content (the information you’re communicating) on the site seldom changes. Also, since the content is more static, there’s little need for custom programming or the development of special features or functionality. Since the complexity, effort, and typical need for added features or technology is less, development of a professional brochure site is very affordable, and starts at $1,500 (for a 10-12 page site), plus the cost of any additional pages, features, or functionality needed. A brochure site includes a Web Site Project Survey, the graphic design and construction of the site (with up to two comps), domain registration and hosting assistance, Meta tag coding with basic search engine optimization, up to 2 stock images per page, and one interactive visitor form (typically used for collecting visitor info such as name, address, email, newsletter and/or subscription sign-up, etc). Generally, this category of web site ranges in size from 15-100+ pages and warrants more customization, frequent updates to content, and the development of special features, custom programming and utilities to support the goals of the site. Pricing for the development of your web site begins with a fully functional Home Page and starts at $1,250. This includes a functional and professionally designed Home Page layout that provides the graphical framework for the entire site and the foundation for subsequent pages and content for the site. It also contains working navigation linked to “placeholder” pages determined by the navigation tree defined in your site specification. Payment ScheduleA 40% deposit is due prior to starting work on the project. A 2nd payment of 40% is due upon hosted draft of the site, with the final 20% due upon completion and subsequent removal of the Revenuity Watermark from all pages. Since we are limiting the number of projects we take on, we require the deposit in order to reserve a time slot and commitment for each client. Maintaining Your WebsiteThere are several options for maintaining your website and its content. Macromedia offers a product called Contribute that allows you to make simple text edits to web page content. With this product, you can view pages and make changes, yet it does require a simple understanding of the HTML language. One nice advantage to this option is that Macromedia offers a free 30-day trial of Contribute to evaluate whether or not it is an option for you. A second option is the implementation of a content management system (CMS) into your site. A CMS will give you more flexibility and much more control over the editing of your site and is customized specifically to your site by us. In addition to the flexibility of a CMS, it can allow you to manage a variety of content, news items, portfolios, ads, and other content managed through a database. Similar to Macromedia’s Contribute product however, it does require a simple understanding of HTML. The integration and development of a CMS is an additional charge and typically begins at $1500 to implement. For more details and a specific quote on the effort, please contact us directly. A third option is a pay-as-you-go maintenance contract that allows you submit changes to us via email and we take care of all the updating or editing directly. This frees up more of your time and requires no level of HTML expertise. Maintenance contracts are cost-effective and are based on the type, size, and complexity of your web site.
